In March 2020, Planet Computers introduced its new design of Astro Slide 5G. The Astro Slide 5G is a British-designed phone with a fully mechanical keyboard.
First, they designed the Gemini PDA, launched with a sim slot. Afterwards, they introduced Cosmo Communicator, which is based on a dual screen to make it work better as a phone.

Slide Mechanism
Astro 5G has a larger slide mechanism, but it looks great with its device. You can move it by grabbing the centre with your thumb. But it soon feels common.
The primary disadvantage of Slide is that you can’t push the Astro Slide over when it’s in the open position; there’s enough balance at the bottom to stop this from happening.
It is excellent news as you will want to press the screen even when the keyboard is on display.
Keyboard
I can say that the Planet Computer has done an excellent job here, with a nice feel to the keys in their new gadget. Astra Slide 5G has a soft keys keyboard and is handy for texting the document.
Software
Planet has made several improvements in their Android 11 (including helpful keyboard shortcuts) and created its software.
I especially like the “One Search” tool, where you also type with the home screen active, and the Astro 5G makes shortcuts to everything from Google searches to names in your address book. It’s a real time-saver.
